We are pleased to share two senior job opportunities from our partner organization in Egypt, NAWAYA (operating under the EERA legal umbrella). They are recruiting two specialized leads for their Agroecology Network Knowledge Sharing and Advocacy Project, funded by the Porticus Foundation.
The project aims to establish a collaborative network of NGOs to co-develop, implement, and monitor a national strategy supporting small-scale farming families in transitioning to agroecology.

1. Agroecology Network Engagement & Learning Lead
Focus: Deepening practical understanding of agroecology, creating educational toolkits, and managing network knowledge sharing.
Key Tasks: Develop an Onboarding and Facilitation Toolkit for NGOs, design practical agroecology workshops (IPM, seed systems, composting), and build a digital database of Egyptian agroecology experts.
Requirements: 8–10 years of experience in agricultural extension, NGO training, or development communication. Proficiency in Arabic (writing) and English (translation), along with content creation skills (Canva, PowerPoint, basic video editing).
2. Agroecology Transition Strategy Lead
Focus: Strengthening evidence-based data, driving policy advocacy, and leading future resource mobilization and fundraising.
Key Tasks: Adapt international Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) tools to the Egyptian context, analyze baseline data, lead content for high-level political roundtables, and organize collective proposal-writing workshops.
Requirements: 8–10 years of experience in sustainability research, policy analysis, or MLE. Strong facilitation skills in both Arabic and English, with proven experience preparing policy briefs and donor-facing documents.
General Terms & Conditions:
Expected Start Date: July 1, 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, 1-year renewable
Location: Remote-flexible, with required travel to Cairo and Badrashin for workshops and team meetings.
